A brief history ...

Formed in 1962 following the coming together of local Baptist churches in Bacup, Trinity has a rich history in the town.

Over the years, we have grown into a church which offers both modern and traditional styles of worship and a variety of activities for all ages. Creche facilities and Sunday School are available during our Sunday morning services, and everyone is welcome.

Service times available via the link above.

Rev'd Alistair Stewart moved to Bacup in 1994 with his wife Eunice and their two daughters Rebecca and Susannah.

Alistair grew up in Croydon and became a Christian in his late teens.

He worked for the Department of Social Security as an Inspector before training for ordained ministry at Bristol Baptist College.

He loves football and is a keen supporter of Crystal Palace.

Our Youth Pastor

Hi! I'm Jacqueline Parson and I am the Youth Pastor here at Trinity.

I have lived in Bacup and attended church at Trinity for most of my life and became a Christian in my mid-teens.

I studied theology at Glasgow University before returning to Bacup after my graduation.

I am passionate to see the young people of our town, and in our church, fully realise their God-given potential and to give each of them repeated opportunties to come to know and accept Jesus for themselves.

I enjoy watching films and I am currently learning to play the drums.
